Goth Seengar Foundation GSF (foundation for rural development) is the outcome of the thoughts of committed like minded people. It made its existence in 1991, and initiated its efforts from a village “Bozdar Wada” The Policies and thoughts of such individuals have made a special place for striving against the life affecting issues of the communities focusing rural populations. GSF made right based approach as the platform for all its activities and framed its objectives to work in the social sectors. It believed in building sustainable institution through which the basic requirements of the individual/society can be fulfilled. The idea is to ensure the absolute participation of people in all governing efforts and to make plans that will accommodate the real needs of communities.

Foundation is leaded by a Board of Directors composed of academics, sociologists, and development Professionals who share a common vision of development and a commitment to genuine people empowerment. The present GSF team includes professionals from various fields i.e. agriculturists, sociologists, health professionals, technologists, educationists, economists and community organizers. The Chief Executive oversees the regular operations of foundation.

Goth Seengar Foundations is animating its activities in 07 districts of Sindh Province District Khairpur Mirs, Sakhar, Naushero Feroz, Kambar Shahdadkot, Jacobabad, Shikarpur, and Kashmore districts, having head office in District Khairpur and its sub offices in areas. GSF focuses to work with poor people in rural settings, marginalized groups, labors, and farmers, focusing women and children, to uplift their living standard and to minimize the vulnerabilities regarding the life affecting issues.
